The Retired Greyhound Trust Hillview was established in January 2008, and is run by Vicky Gladwin and her staff.

 

The RGT Hillview is based in the heart of Devonshire countryside near to the A303 near the town of Honiton.

 

RGT Hillview is able to hold four retired greyhounds ready for rehoming.

Everybody knows our long term resident Star, well we ar glad to say that she has now lived in her home for about six months and following a recent visit with her new owner we got to take this picture.

 

 

 

 

In November on of our residents Shirl went to her new home.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This month Sam & Mela (Bimbo) went home to start there new life in Exeter, which they are getting on really well in.

 

 

 

 

 

Barney one of our former residents went home to his new home in Truro as you can see from the picture he is getting on fantasically.

 

 

 

 

 

 

This month Scarlett now called Cherish is living in Brixham and going really well and we wish her all the best for the future.

 

 

 

 

Also this week we have got some picture off of our short stay resident Trooper who went to live in Plymouth. They must have some good fashion taste as we can see in the image; Highlander Coat and a red scarf.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Since we homed Queenie a few months ago we have got some pictures of her enjoying the huge amounts of snow which she played for hours in.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This week we have rehomed one of our residents Dave which have gone to live in Newton Abbott with one of our pevious residents Lady (Dulcie)  we wish him all the best in his new owners and more pictures will appear shortly.

 

 

 

Finally Snow has been rehomed to a family in Chard, we hope this will be the home for her and she won't have to come back again, we wish her all the best.

About two months ago we rehomed this lovely small fawn girl Linda to a family in North Devon, this week we recieved some images of of her now called Isla.

 

 

 

 

Millie Molly Moo has finally left the centre to go and live in Southampton. We wish her all the very best. We have heard that she is doing really well in her new home.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On Sunday one of our dogs Fred left the centre to go and live in Martock in Somerset, and we wish him all the best, shortly there will be an update and a picture of him in his new home.

 

Fred at the beach, we always knew that Fred loved the water as we found out here whilst we were out on a walk by the River Otter.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nellie one of our very short stay dogs who came into the centre and went to her new home the same day.

 

Nellie is settleing in fine in her new home in Budleigh and gets on well with all the family and familys other animals.

Linda one of our former short stay residents was rehomed over the weekend and is getting on perfectly in her new home with Merry in Lyme Regis.

 

We have since heard that she is doing fine and that they couldn't have wished for a better dog.

 

She is enjoying dicovering new smells on her new walk and shes has taken to getting in Merry's bed when he's not in it.

 

 

 

 

Lady one of our former residents at RGT Hillview has finally found a home

in Newton Abbot. And we wish her all the best.

 

We have now heard from her new owners that they have changed her name to Lady Dulcinea (Dulcie) and that she is doing fine even though we have to persuade her off her bed to go for a walk.

 

"We couldn't have asked for a more endearing, well-mannered and loving dog. Although she is still adjusting, we are confident that there are lots of very happy times ahead." Says Jane & David her new owners.
 
 

 

 

Finally Princess has found a new home outside of Devon in Fishguard, Pembrokeshire.

 

This morning 12th May her new owners arrrived at the kennels to collect her for her journey home.

 

Her new owners contacted us later that afternoon to tell us that she

was doing fine and pictured left is her enjoying her new garden.
