The Retired Greyhound Trust Hillview was established in January 2008, and is run by Vicky Gladwin and her staff.

 

The RGT Hillview is based in the heart of Devonshire countryside near to the A303 near the town of Honiton.

 

RGT Hillview is able to hold ten retired greyhounds ready for rehoming.

 The Centre

 

 RGT Hillview is set in the ideal location for rehoming greyhounds because of its easy access from the main road.

 

 RGT Hillview offers:

 

 - 4 Country kennels located in a

    landscaped miniture woodland

    and orchard.

 

 - 6 Country kennels set in a systematic

    paddock overlooking the Otter Valley

 

 - Heated Kennels for 10 dogs.

 

 - NEW* for 2010 Exercise area

 

 - Set in 3/4 of an acre.

 

 - Nature Walk

 

 - Straight out onto footpaths and

    bridleways for potential owners 

    to get to know and walk the dogs.

 

 - Reception and shop to buy your

    merchendise for your new dog.

Dogs For Rehoming:

 

Amy: Is a White and Black 5 year old bitch, with a sweet nature and would benefit from a nice home.

 

Billy: Is a white and black 2 year old boy who is looking for a new home. He would make a great family pet.

 

Cherry (Blossom): Is a 4 year old black bitch who is quiet in her kennel and really affectionate witha loving nature, she will make a lovely family pet and deserves a nice home.

 

Lenny: Is a very loveable brindle boy who will make a great dog in any household. Lenny has a very loving personality.

 

Libby: A lovely friendly dog who will make a lovely addition to a family home. She loves her food and enjoys going on her walks. She was not used for racing as she was far too playful to race. As with all young dogs she will require a home where someone is in most of the time. She is very clean in her kennel and is ok with children.

 

Bruce: Is a big black dog who never managed to make it to the race track as he was just no good. He has been living in a foster home for two weeks where he was no problem.

 

Chas: Has sadly returned to the centre for rehoming after living in a home for 7 months. Chas is housetrained and enjoyed home life. In Chas's case he become scared of the fireworks and refused to go out last thing at night. With an experienced owner. We are sure we can find him the right home. 

 

Rocky: Has come to the centre for rehoming after living in a home after being return for no fault of his own. Rocky is 11 years old a could benefit from a loving warm enviroment. He is a smashing good who loves a nice fuss and affection. If you could offer Rocky a home he deserves please dont hesitate to contact us.

 

Cassie: Is a white and black 4 year old bitch, who is a real sweetheart she is a real favorite here at the centre, Cassie walks well on her lead and can live with small dogs. She is a real treat.
